Elizabeth Arden is a renowned and celebrated beauty supply and skin care company that has been serving women and men alike for years. Their products offer a wide range of skin and beauty benefits and they have earned a reputation as a consistent and proven manufacturer. Elizabeth Arden offers many products for many issues but one of the most popular and well known is the Elizabeth Arden Prevage Anti-Aging Treatment. This particular blend of ingredients is said to show wrinkle decreasing results around the facial and eye areas most prone to fine lines and creases.
Elizabeth Arden Prevage Anti-Aging treatment includes a powerful antioxidant called “idebenone.” This ingredient is known as a potent element in the reversal of skin damage accrued due to free radicals. The fact that a product can boast of being from the Elizabeth Arden line is no small matter. This is a brand name that has inspired a great deal of loyalty over the time since it was established. This is a company that is careful in developing its products as it seems to put the needs of the consumer at the foremost of engineering and manufacturing. These products are also easy to find either online or at department stores or other local retailers.
Elizabeth Arden Prevage Anti-Aging Treatment does not offer a comprehensive list of ingredients and that is definitely a “con.” One of the only ways that we can determine the potential effectiveness of a product is by a careful analysis of the ingredients that the product is made with. We are always slightly suspicious when this information is hidden. Furthermore, it is impossible to forewarn those who may have allergies to certain elements of the formula. Still this is a relatively small detractor (providing you don’t have any known severe allergies to skin care products) in the face of such a skin care powerhouse.
Elemis - March 9th, 2010
Elemis is a British brand of spa products. Elemis lists anti-aging solutions as well as eye care, lip care, masks, sunscreen, facial cleansers, toners, moisturizers and products for either gender as their main product line. Their products are created and a good amount of their ingredients are derivatives of natural botanicals, essential oils, organic extracts, medicinal herbs, seaweed extracts (boosts collagen) and natural emulsifiers. Known as a “British luxury spa and skin care brand”, Elemis was founded in 1989 and has a solid 21 years of experience to lend credit to their name.
Elemis claims to have “three key principles” and they are as follows: defined by nature, led by science, and a personalized lifestyle prescription. All Elemis products are stated to be free of animal based collagen, mineral oil, alcohol, detergents, silicones and synthetic perfumes. Elemis products are not tested on animals. Elemis products range in price from $23 to $300 or more and do not offer a money back guarantee. This is something that set off slight warning bells in our ears. It is odd for a company as well-established as this, and with such a steep price tag, to not offer a money back guarantee for the penny-shy first time client. It shows a lack of confidence that we find wholly unattractive.
We appreciate that Elemis does not use animal based ingredients and it is convenient that the official website offers an “ingredient glossary” so that you can research each element of whichever product you are buying. Their website does not, however, boast any links to customer reviews and that is another red flag. If a company has anything to be proud of it is always displayed in a customer review section of their site. At this time we would suggest looking carefully at other products to see if they have a more reasonable price tag or, at least, a money back guarantee should their product not work for you.
This product is an actual laser that is used to completely get rid of your wrinkles. However, this laser does require some recovery time where your face will be susceptible to the sun and will be red for quite some time. Apparently, this product is like a face lift without the risks that come with being under the knife. Apparently, this product can fight wrinkles, rejuvenate the skin, reduce acne scars and get rid of age spots. There is no skin care line that comes with this. It is just the laser. They say that you should have at least 3-6 treatments done before you really see any results. During the time between treatments you must where sunscreen to protect your face because it will be very sensitive. These treatments are about $2,000 which is very expensive.
Of course, there are no ingredients. However, there are thousands of tiny pixels that target areas of your face to get rid of the wrinkles and scars. They also claim that this laser can promote collagen production. However, this benefit doesn’t outweigh the side effects. People who have undergone this treatment have experienced burns on their face as well as a prolonged sensitivity to the sun.
This product should be used as a last resort. Not only does it cost a small fortune, but the recovery time can be quite painful. We recommend that you explore your options before you look into trying Affirm Laser. This product does work, but with the expense of causing further damage to your skin. We recommend that you look at other products and try those first before you fork over $2,000 to have someone shoot you with a laser.
Aderma - March 5th, 2010
This product was created by Laboratories Pierre Fabre. They began this product line in the 1960’s and it has been around ever since. Based out of France, this product can be found and bought anywhere around the world. They claim that this product uses unique ingredients that are native to France that can help your skin unlike any other herb. This company aims on educating its customers on how to take care of your skin which we like and respect. However, most of the customers that are coming to this company for help are looking to reverse the damage that has already been done to their skin.
These products do not come with ingredients lists which makes us very skeptical of their company. Not only is this very unprofessional of them, but there is no way for us to tell which ingredients they include in their products will actually be harmful to your skin and can cause irritation. Further, there is no way for us to determine if their products are even effective because we don’t know what’s in them and what concentration of each ingredient they include.
Overall, we don’t like Aderma. Not only do they not give us enough information, but there is no research to back the product up. There are plenty of other skin care products out there that can help you reduce your wrinkles, but we aren’t positive that Aderma is one of them. We recommend that you do a bit more research to find a product that fully discloses needed information so that you can make an educated decision on whether or not a skin care product is for you.
Actifirm - March 5th, 2010
This product is apparently for high class people. They claim that they use the best natural ingredients out there in order to prevent and reduce wrinkles. In this product line is a cleanser, a peel, a mask and an eye cream that should all be used simultaneously. The price of all these products vary, but they sure add up fast.
Actifirm uses Actizyme as its main ingredient. Other ingredients include gotu kola, coneflower, rosemary, sodium hyaluronate, aloe vera, algae, green tea, chamomile, propylene glycol, tocopheryl acetate, lavender, and roman chamomile. These are mostly active ingredients although there are a number of filler products that make us wonder if the product has anything of value to offer. These products do include some antioxidants that can reduce damage that has been done to the skin by either aging or the sun. On the other hand, there are some ingredients included that can irritate the skin such as propylene.
Overall, we don’t recommend Actifirm. Not only do they not give you a full list of ingredients, but there is nothing about this product that actually stands out among other wrinkle reducing products. We definitely recommend finding something else. There are plenty of products out there to choose from. We recommend that you do some research and look at their customer reviews to see if you can find a product that other people like and that you will like as well. Actifirm doesn’t really have any wrinkle fighting potential, so don’t waste your time.
The 7 Second Eye Lift claims that you will finally get all the best results that you are looking for. They talk about giving you the best ingredients to help you to finally achieve various benefits, and you will finally be able to effectively speaking get rid of dark circles, bags, and for that matter crow’s feet. With the 7 Second Eye Lift, you will get innovation and clinically proven results, and with the 7 Second Eye Lift, you will see more than you have ever seen before.
But the question is, how does the 7 Second Eye Lift actually work? After all, we don’t really think about what it would take to get 7 second results. Well, obviously it cannot immediately eliminate crow’s feet. That ultimately speaking takes time. However, bags are a different story. Water retention and inflammation can be quickly addressed. Dull skin that may make you look older can be achieved quite quickly.
Likewise, they have other ingredients like peptides. They have amazing peptides that can produce more collagen and elastin. They have peptides and other ingredients that have actually been proven to target the eyes, and with the 7 Second Eye Lift, you will finally be able to achieve far greater results than ever before.
We would definitely recommend using the 7 Second Eye Lift. It will help you to finally achieve the greater benefits that you are looking for, and with the 7 Second Eye Lift, you will see amazing results that you would not realistically speaking find anywhere else. We would definitely recommend using the 7 Second Eye Lift for real results.
Cellatox - March 5th, 2010
Cellatox talks about finally helping you to take control. They say that Cellatox will finally help you to effectively eliminate wrinkles, reduce or even eliminate dark circles, and get rid of those annoying bags around the eyes. They say that Cellatox will finally help you to see all the benefits you want, and apparently, Cellatox comes through in various other ways.
Cellatox specifically talks about getting rid of problems around the eyes. But honestly speaking, we have found that this provides an extra challenge for many, even beyond the normal challenges of finding a good wrinkle cream in general. They have to have specialized ingredients that target that area, because the usual does not work. So does Cellatox actually come through?
Cellatox has a blend of potentially speaking powerful peptides among other things. It has ingredients that can help you in certain ways to get some of the results that you want. In effect, it can help you to get rid of wrinkles and improve the skin. But the important thing is that Cellatox actually has eye specific ingredients such as eyeseryl. And so it can actually give you the concentration to have that effect that you will never find with most eye creams to say the least.
We would definitely recommend using Cellatox. It will come through, and it will show you the results that you want. With Cellatox, you will finally be able to take greater control, and you will finally be able to eliminate wrinkles and target many problems around the eyes. We would recommend Cellatox above many others as you could actually see the greater results that you want.
Oxytoxin Type II claims to help you to achieve all of the better results that you want. They claim that Oxytoxin Type II will finally help you to eliminate stubborn wrinkles and get all of the effects you are looking for. Apparently, Oxytoxin Type II will finally help you to take control, eliminating those stubborn wrinkles, bags, and dark circles, and you will never find anything better. But the question is, are they really the revolution in eye creams that they claim to be?
Oxytoxin Type II has a powerful blend of peptides and other potentially powerful ingredients such as syn-coll and matrixyl for example. We do not like seeing wrinkle creams without peptides such as these, because they are the only ingredients that really produce more collagen and elastin, and ultimately speaking, they are the only ingredients that really effectively speaking reduce wrinkles in the end. Keep in mind that even collagen injections, the body eats through in a period of a year or less. But the results of peptides are much cheaper and they last.
This being said, they also use the eye specific ingredient known as eyeseryl. With Oxytoxin Type II, you get the rare and still present results of a real eye cream, and you will finally be able to see results in general. This is rare to say the very least, and with Oxytoxin Type II, you could finally get all of the results that you are looking for.
With Oxytoxin Type II, you get a formula that we do not often see to say the least. It has real ingredients that can actually give you results, and ultimately speaking, they seem to actually have the right amounts. The consumer reviews that we have seen are positive, and we would definitely recommend using Oxytoxin Type II.
Antarctilyne Plump3 is a wrinkle treatment that focuses on reducing wrinkles by increasing collage stimulation. They do not make any outrageous claims and do not use any outrageous ingredients. They claim that you can reduce the appearance of wrinkles in 30 days by up to 35%. There are products that claim results in one day and, frankly, we’re a lot more inclined to believe these results. This product uses peptides and proteins to help protect the skin fibers from degenerating and it also improves the appearance of the skin. At least that is the theory. So can Antarctilyne Plump3 really do that for you?
This product is based on Trylagen which is a peptide formula that also contains proteins. It is supposed to help keep the skin uniform and firm. We don’t doubt that Trylagen is a good ingredient. What we doubt is that they use enough of it. This product only contains 5%. Unless this is an amazingly powerful ,Trylgen that is not going to be enough. Some products contain over 90% peptides in their formulas.
We also didn’t like that this product was scented and contained some other unnecessary chemicals. For many people that is not a problem but, for those with allergies, this could worsen the condition of the skin. We also don’t like those ingredients because they act as fillers. That way there is not as much room for the effective ingredients.
We do not recommend this product. It will most likely make your skin softer but you can buy a moisturizer to do that for a much better price. We suggest that you look for products that are not afraid to use higher concentrations of effective ingredients.
Ambi - March 3rd, 2010
Ambi is a line of beauty products that focuses on both facial and body skin care products. They focus mainly on products for women with darker complexions. The products contain a lot of thick moisturizers and may not be for people with oily skin. However, for those with skin that is prone to drying out, these may be some great products.
After looking over the products we didn’t really see any that were specifically for anti-aging. Many of them are great moisturizers and if you use them regularly they can help prevent the signs of aging from worsening or happening in the first place. However, they cannot reverse the damage that has already occurred. They contain Shea butter, Vitamin C, Vitamin A, and Vitamin E to help you increase cell turnover. This is great for the skin but it is not going to eliminate wrinkles. All of those vitamins are great for helping the skin to repair and protect it from free radicals.
We liked the quality of these products and the fact that they really could do your skin some good. However, we cannot recommend them as wrinkle creams really. So if you’re going to use these products we suggest using them along with a wrinkle cream that can really target the wrinkles. The other drawback was that they are targeted towards women with darker skin. We’re sure it could really help any skin tone, but the tint of the creams may not be for those with fair skin. Overall this may be a good product but not a wrinkle cream.
