With a bi-mineral complex to restore skin collagen and elasticity, Elastiderm is said to eliminate the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Reported results include improvement in elasticity by forty-six percent in nine weeks and improvement in wrinkles by sixteen percent after nine weeks.

Elastiderm is a wrinkle cream that is said to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines as well as eliminate the effects of sun exposure and discoloration under the eyes, known as dark circles. Elastiderm claims that consumers will see results in as little as two weeks. But is this too good to be true?

This product uses zinc and copper to reduce acne blemishes, though these two ingredients are not proven to reduce wrinkles. The bi-mineral complex for which is Elastiderm makes its base also lacks the ability to reduce fine lines and wrinkles.

Elastiderm does contain blueberries for antioxidant purposes of fighting free radicals, though these also cannot reduce wrinkles. Therapeutics are include to hydrate the skin. Several different kinds of parabens are included. Parabens are added to many cosmetic products and act as preservatives, containing salt.

Elastiderm’s ingredients include water, ethylhexyl palmitate, glycerin, glyceryl stearate, PED-100 Stearate, propylene glycol, dimethicone, stearyl alcohol, xanthan gum, magnesium aluminum silicate, blueberry fruit concentrate, licorice root extract, algae extract, butylparaben, malonic acid, sodium hydroxide, propylparaben, ethylparaben, methylparaben, phenoxyethanol, isobutylparaben, vitamin A, titanium dioxide, mica, and iron oxides.

Elastiderm’s website does not provide a full list of ingredients, so allergic reaction is highly possible. The makers of Elastiderm, Obagi Medical, do not provide a money-back guarantee when purchasing Elastiderm. Despite including clinical trials, the makers do not include the details or findings of the trials. In the end Elastiderm may not be the best choice for wrinkle fighting, even if there are three steps included.
