Revitalume

Eye cream has become a topic of discussion over the past few decades as more and more research has been done. Current research shows that dark circles are not caused solely by aging. Like bruises, dark circles are broken blood vessels beneath the skin. This happens regularly all over the body, but is only seen beneath the eyes. This is due to the unfortunate fact that the skin underneath the eyes is thin.
Luckily new research provides relief, although only certain kinds of products have the correct ingredients to be effective. Claiming to have many visible benefits within minutes, Revitalume is an eye cream with great promise.
Revitalume is a new product that streamed onto the market in 2008. Advertisements say that Revitalume can soothe puffy eyes, fade unfortunate discoloration, reinforce capillary walls to eliminate future appearances of dark circles, and improve the quality and texture of the eye area.
Revitalume uses peptides, elements proven to minimize the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines, to build collagen. Collagen is a key component of disguising prominent blood vessels. Revitalume uses palmitoyl tetrapeptide-3 and palmitoyl oligopeptide to not only increase collagen to but improve the texture of skin.
Hesperidin methyl chalcone is used to prevent capillaries form leaking and creating dark circles, though research shows other similar elements to be more effective. Chrysin is an element that dilates blood vessels to prevent future leaking. Revitalume also uses the more common elements of cucumber, green tea, and shea butter, to hydrate, reduce puffiness, and give antioxidant protection.
Other ingredients include vitamin A, vitamin C, vitamin E, aloe vera, grapefruit seed extract, hydrolyzed wheat protein, yeast extract, glycerin, sesame seed oil, sweet almond oil, cocoa seed butter, coconut oil, bearberry leaf extract, licorice root extract, and mango butter. Other active ingredients are also included.
In reality Revitalume could be an amazing product because it has some of the necessary ingredients to actually reduce puffiness, minimize wrinkles, and induce collagen production; however Revitalume is only close to getting it right.
Revitalume does not show clinical trial results or scientific evidence to back their claims, despite an FDA approval. Revitalume also includes some active elements that are not as efficient as others, while . Revitalume is close to being all that an eye cream should be, but needs to keep working on it.
