Transformulas’ Mid-Life Marine Miracle Crème

Mid-Life Marine Miracle Crème is just one of Transformulas’ products in the ‘Mid-Life’ line. The line includes a cleanser as well as some products to stimulate cell growth. The company promises to turn back time, in the manner of superheroes, claiming that their products have the same superpower-like qualities. This product contains just about every marine-based plant you can name as well as sea salt. However, to “turn back time,” one would expect to find quite the cocktail of peptides or some sort of stem cell ingredient – both proven to promote collagen production.
Transformulas does not provide a full ingredient list – it only lists four active ingredients. Thus, it is hard to know how much of each ingredient is in the product, as well as to know if there are any harmful additives that might damage or irritate the skin. The top ingredient listed is actually an ingredient patented by Transformulas called Lysedine. It is basically more of the same – marine ingredients that hydrate and exfoliate the skin. The good news is that algae and sea salt are excellent exfoliates, and that giant sea kelp is a good hydrator. This means that the product will moisturize the skin – and hydrated skin is smoother and wrinkles are less likely to be visible.
The problem is that there does not seem to be peptides or stem cells, only undersea plants. We cannot reasonably expect this product to be very effective without ingredients proven to smooth lines. Another problem is the price. The crème alone costs £39 for 15 ml, or about $63 for 1.7 fl. oz. While that is a fairly standard price for an anti-aging cream, this crème is, at best, a moisturizer. Therefore we do not recommend buying it.

Puffy eyes Tea Bags? Cream?I've had this irritating puffy eye for the past 2 days. Not red or itchy just puffy and dry. From lack of sleep and wnkriog online for the past couple of days. I read about cold compresses and tea bags also cucumbers. Is there a particular brand of tea bags I need to buy? Also what is the best aloe-based eye-soothing gel or cream? I'm 6 months pregnant so nothing medicated. Safe and easy to use? Thanks!
